Seriously, we may have the best job in the world. So blessed to work with Ephraim and Lacey this weekend. They were married at the beautiful White Ranch here in Chico among family and friends. They are both stunning and the nicest of people. Much love to you two! Have such a great time on your honeymoon! K and K
It was very last minute. In a matter of days, JP and Karen's life had changed a lot. JP was getting deployed and would be out of the country during their set wedding date. And so, they were married, months before they had planned. And even with everything being last minute, there was something simple and beautiful about their ceremony. It was just them, and a few family and friends gathered at White Ranch. There was no wedding planner, no formal tuxes or decor. It was about the people. It was about the covenant that JP and Karen were making. It was about the support of their families. It was about love.
And I was honored to be a part of these brief, lifechanging moments.
Thank you both for sacrificing so much for our country. You are beautiful people.

Happy Friday everyone! We are back from Kauai, sad to have our vacation end, but excited for all the new adventures to come. Life is full and we are blessed.
Life is unexpected. Sometimes it may seem like chaos and all we can do is hold on tight. For Karen, her life changed drastically three weeks ago when she learned that her fiance would be getting deployed, and very soon. This also meant JP would be gone for their already planned September wedding. It created a lot of change, and quickly.
As I talked to Karen over the next couple weeks, everything shifted. Rather than fight with everything in her, to hold on to a dream, she had the courage to accept this new season. This new dream.
And for that, she danced.
She put on her wedding shoes this past Saturday, and in the smallest of celebrations, yet most meaningful days of her life, she walked down the aisle to JP. She was stunning. And there was determination in her eyes. She could do this.
I am thankful for Karen and the example that she is. There will be more from their wedding ceremony held at the White Ranch in the coming weeks. And of course, I can't wait for the big celebration in the future. Thank you Karen and JP for being you. For taking this season of life and making it beautiful. Much Love, K and K
