Chico Wedding Photographer: Aloha

To say I don't deserve this is an understatement. Because I don't. I am sitting in Kauai right now, sun soaked and so grateful. I don't want the time to end, but like all good things, it will soon.

So we are creating the best of memories and storing them up.

Aloha from the Stones! Although we want to stay forever, we will see you back in Chico soon :)

K and K

Many thanks to my hubby's amazing self portrait skills!

Chico Photographer: Baby Dylan

Dear Dylan, You are one now. That was a very quick year. I can hardly believe how fast you are growing. There are so many cute things about you -- although, I am not sure that your Dad would want me to call you cute. You are one handsome boy! Thank you Leah and Yancey for letting me be a part of your lives. I have gotten to know you over the past year and consider you friends. You are so kind to Kenny and I. Thank you so much! So cheers to Dylan's first birthday! He is so awesome!

Much Love, K and K

He has had a full head of hair since the very beginning! Pretty amazing stuff!

I am pretty sure he was laughing here -- but I love this expression! It kind of sums up how we all feel sometimes.

Definitely walking now...

And while this last frame doesn't show you his cute face, I really love it. Pure happiness between a Mom and her son!

Chico California Photographer: Baby Dylan

In the middle of this busy wedding season, I have been able to squeeze in a couple portrait sessions here and there. Baby Dylan is one of those :) I have gotten to know Leah and Yancey and Dylan over the last year. Let's just say I met Dylan while Leah was still beautifully pregnant. They are such welcoming people -- generous and really good parents. I just really appreciate them. Dylan is nine months, maybe even a little older now, and let's be honest, can he get much cuter. Babies always start out a little pensive....

I think he may have remembered me after a few moments....

I love that Leah brought his wagon...

Just chillin...

My sister is having a baby boy in October -- and I think her little boy may need a hat like this....

And in case you are wondering why Dylan is so cute...

Chico California Wedding Photography: Scott and Rebekah

Ok -- this was a crazy, fun wedding! It was one of those strange Saturdays, two weeks ago here in Chico. It was so windy and actually kind of cold. (I know all of my Portland friends do not want to hear that 60 degrees feels cold...). All that to say, Rebekah and Scott were troopers. They made the weather look so good and they had so much fun together on their wedding day. I feel like my blog posts could go on and on with their photos...The wedding was at Butte Creek Country Club. An outdoor wedding with an indoor reception. I loved meeting all of their friends and family -- it was truly a beautiful event. Thank you so much for allowing us into your lives, Scott and Rebekah. What an honor!

Love the girls!!

The boys too...

The flowers were beautiful and created by Flor Decor...

The ceremony came first, followed by our time with the bride and groom....

At the end of the aisle we caught this sweet moment...

Now for portraits...

Rebekah -- you are stunning!

The details were gorgeous as well!

And as for the night -- it was wonderful! Lots of dancing and good times that I will try to blog later as this post has gotten quite long and I still have to make dinner for my hubby :)

So for now -- Cheers to Scott and Rebekah!

Chico California Photographer: Bryn

Looking back at this senior class, I have had the opportunity to work with so many different students and I am so grateful! Bryn may have been my final senior session of the year and what a great way to end. Bryn is on the snowboard team for her high school. She is courageous and full of passion. It was an honor to spend the afternoon with Bryn and her Mom. Thank you so much! Cheers to Bryn and the entire class of 2011!

Bryn, you are beautiful!

I love these last two photos -- how they contrast two different moods, both beautiful.
